JAM (Joint Admission Test for MSc)-


Candidates who were looking for IIT JAM 2017, we would like to inform all of them, JAM registration starts from the month of September every year and examination is conducted in the month of February. Purpose of this examination to admit students in MSc in offered by various IITs and IISc Bangalore. Numbers of candidates appear in this examination in order to get well known and reputed college for studying the PG program i.e. M.Sc. Candidates can check out their eligibility by going through this article. IIT JAM 2017 Notification

 

Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates must have done Bachelor’s degree (In science field) from a well-known) university. Candidates who are graduate via distance studies, they can also apply for this examination.
All the candidates who belong to General or OBC category they must have gone graduation with at least 55% of marks however candidates who belong to reserved category(sc/st), they need to be passed via 50% of marks.

Application fee

If you want to apply for only one paper and you belong to General or OBC category then you need to give the payment of Rs. 1500/- and if you are female and belong to SC or ST or PWD (male) then you need to give the payment of Rs. 750/-
If you want to apply for both papers and belong to General or OBC category then you need to pay the payment of Rs. 2100/- and all the candidates from SC or ST or PWD and Female need to pay Rs. 1050/-

How to apply

In order to apply online for JAM 2017; candidates need to visit the official site.
After doing so, hit the Apply Online link (will be available after release of official notice).
Once it is done, fill all the important details and then submit it.
After filling all the details, you need to proceed to the payment section.
Lastly do not forget to take a print out of filled application form and confirmation page of payment for further usage.
Take print of application form for future use.

2. IISER Entrance Exam

The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) are group of best science research institutes on india. IISER are wholly funded by MHRD. The financial outlay for each IISER is around ₹5 billion for the first five years. There are 6 IISERS namely IISER Kolkata , IISER Pune, IISER Mohali , IISER Bhopal, IISER Thiruvananthapuram and IISER Tirupati. Two new IISERs, one at Brahmapur, Odisha and other one in Nagaland have beenannounced in the 2015 Budget.
Exam – All IISERs Conducts entrance exam separately. Candidates have to apply for each IISER.
Selection – Exam + Interview
Admission notification – Each IISER invites application usually in march or april
Scholarship – IISERs give scholarship of minimum 10000 per month for each students
Course offered – Integrated PHD ( M.Sc+PHD)


3.NIT entrance Exam for M.Sc

Most of the NITs offer M.Sc courses including M.Sc. Physics M.Sc. Chemistry M.Sc. Mathematics etc…all NITs invites application to various M.Sc courses separately. Candidates have to apply to each NITs. Each NIT offer more than 20 seats for each course.
Selection -NIT exam Score
Admission notification – Usually in March or May

Note- Given schedule is tentative, final dates will be updated after release of official notice for JAM 2017.

I am also appearing in JAM 2017 for chemistry and I read a lot about JAM exam I found your blog browsing some other blogs regarding JAM and it is quite informative. So I would also suggest you all candidates to stay updated with official website and Eduncle so that they get update instantly.

IITs are the most prestigious colleges in the field of engineering. I have heard that iitians pace provides the best coaching required for getting into IIT and cracking the entrance.

Hello Sir,
I am a science stream student. I want to apply for IIT JAM 2018 for this I have checked out the JAM Eligibility and I found that I am eligible for the exam. So can you tell me about the syllabus of JAM. It helps me a lot in my preparation.

Thanks Sir,
for providing the complete details related to IIT JAM I am appearing for IIT JAM 2018 exam. To prepare well for the exam I have taken IIT JAM Sample Papers by solving them I got idea about question patterns and also found my weak points now I am working on them to make perfect. Hope will qualify the exam.
