University of Hyderabad Phd Entrance Question Paper Jan 2018

University of Hyderabad(UOH) is among Top 10 universities of India and It is one of the best place to pursue higher education in India. It has various departments and schools among which School of Chemistry is one of the finest.

UOH offers admission for PhD students twice a year, by conducting an All India Entrance Examination. Everyone who want to take admission in this esteemed university has to go through a two step admission procedure including Entrance Exam and Interview. Based on combined scores of above two steps, a merit list is generated and admission is done based on this merit list only. This should be noted that a candidate who has already passed CSIR NET or JRF, also has to go through the two steps. NO PRIORITY IS GIVEN TO JRF CANDIDATES IN ENTRANCE EXAM(only he/she is benefited with some extra marks in interview).

CSIR Results Delayed- Know WHY ??

We were getting frequent messages, mails, comments from our readers. All were asking just one question, "when will this CSIR Result will publish ?". We as per our past experience and pattern of CSIR Exams and Form Filling, just predicted it to be published in the month of October.

But now it is last week of October and there is no sign of result still on the CSIR HRDG website. The question still remained unanswered that why results are delayed?

Today on 25th October The Deputy Secretary of Examination has published a Notice on CSIR official website in which he has answered the above question and asked us to bear with them.
The Notice states that

"The declaration of result of Joint CSIR-UGC JRF/NET June-2017 examination held on 18/06/2017 is delayed because of legal issues involved in the wake of the Judgement of Hon'ble High court of Punjab and Haryana in CWP 8015/2017 dated 28/09/2017."

Further he asked all the candidates who appeared in exam to stay calm and told that:

"The result will be declared in the due course of time. We request all the candidates who had appeared in the above examination to kindly bear with us."

There are few questions which come across our minds that Why can’t India’s most prominent scientific organization solve this persistent problem of Delayed Results.
Here are a few view points which we received from our readers and can’t be ignored:

Taking CSIR NET Exams Online: When GATE & CAT can go online why can’t CSIR ? This will not just save tonnes of paper which is used in the exam but also fasten the result declaration process. Greener Exam, Faster Results
Have a prior Result declaration Date: GATE has it, then why can’t CSIR ? If we have a prior result declaration date then certainly students can plan their career better.

University of Hyderabad-PhD Admission (Jan 2018)

University of Hyderabad, one of the best universities in India to pursue PhD (specially in Chemistry) has invited applications from bright, aspiring candidates committed to excellence in research to apply for Ph.D. admission (January 2018 session) to various research programs for the academic year 2017-18.

The last date for applying online is October, 31, 2017. The entrance examination will be held at Hyderabad Centre only on 12th November, 2017.

Entrance examination for the January 2018 session will be conducted in the University of Hyderabad Campus only and Hall Tickets for the entrance examination can be downloaded from the website. List of the candidates shortlisted for the interview and list of selected/wait listed candidates will be published in the website accordingly. Candidates may please check the University website for downloading the Hall Tickets, results and the relevant formats required for admission. No personal communication will be made to the candidates in this regard.

Eligibility & Minimum Qualifications:

For eligibility, minimum qualification and other details please refer to the Prospectus 2017-18.

Candidates are required to apply online through website: acad.uohyd.ac.in by paying Rs.350/- in case of General, Rs.250/- in case of OBC and Rs.150/- in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates.

The candidates are advised to look into the above vacancy position category wise and then apply online from 6/10/2017 to 31/10/2017. No hard-copy of application need to be forwarded to the University.

CSIR Official Answer Key June 2017

The answer key of CSIR UGC NET will be available from July 21 to 26 (till 5 PM). The CSIR UGC NET exam was conducted on June 18, 2017. Candidates who had appeared in the exam can check CSIR UGC NET answer key on this page. The answer key of CSIR UGC NET will be released for all codes of test booklets A, B, C & D provided to candidates during the exam. Candidates through CSIR UGC NET answer key 2017 can check the correct answers to questions of examination.

The answer key of all the subjects Physical Science, Chemical Science, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences will be released. Checking the CSIR UGC NET answer key, candidates will get an idea of the number of responses marked correctly in the exam. Based on the number of correct and incorrect answers, candidates can calculate their probable score. Candidates having any doubt with regard to the answers in CSIR answer key 2017, can submit challenges till July 26, 2017. As per CSIR UGC NET marking scheme, each question in Part A and B carried 2 marks while questions in Part C carried 4 marks. 25 % marks will be deducted for wrong answers. CSIR UGC NET Answer Key 2017 – Marking Scheme

Candidates after matching the answers in the CSIR UGC NET 2017 Answer Key can calculate their score adopting the following technique.

Part A – Each question in part A of CSIR UGC NET Exam will carry 2 marks. Negative marks for wrong answer will be 25 %.
Part B- For every correct answer, candidates will get 2 marks allotted to that question. 25 % marks will be deducted for wrong answer.

Representation/observation received by any other mode except by email shall not be entertained.
The CSIR’s decision on the representations / observations shall be final and the result will be declared on the basis of final answer keys.
If a question for any reason found wrong, the benefit of marks will be given to only those candidates who attempt the question.
On review of representations of the subject experts, if it is found that along with the original answer key one more options are found to be correct then marks will be awarded to all those candidates who have attempted any one of the correct options.
